Dory Manacoo's Makin' Waves CGC Manacoo's Intoxicating Effect HT x CH Elite Darkside of Stonecrest RN HIT TDI Dory is a beautiful blue merle and she was born on June 9, 2006.  Look for her in the conformation rings! She has the attitude and spark that we're looking for in the ring. She's an easy mover with nice reach and drive. March 2007 - Dory won the 9-12 Puppy Class all five days she was entered at the Raleigh Tar Heel Circuit in Raleigh, NC. Her first week of shows and she handled it like a seasoned pro!  In her first ASCA shows, Dory won the Bred By Exhibitor class all three shows in July 2007. Sept. 2007 - Dory won Winners Bitch under judge Robert Slay at the AKC Moore County Kennel Club shows in Pinehurst, NC from the 12-18 month class defeating 4 bitches for her FIRST AKC point! Oct. 2007 - Dory wins Winners Bitch/Best Opposite under judge Bruce Caldwell at the ASCA Carolina Australian Shepherd Club shows in Mebane, NC from the Bred By Exhibitor class for her FIRST 2 ASCA points! April 2008 - Big NEWS!!  Dory was awarded Winners Bitch/Best Opposite twice, for two ASCA 4 point Majors at the Carolina ASC shows in Mebane, NC! These were from the Bred By Exhibitor class for her first 2 Major Wins!  She is now ASCA Major pointed with 10 points and two Majors! Thank you judges Denise & Keith VanHousen. April 2010 - Dory won Winners Bitch/Best Opposite under judge Dr. Daniel W. Fleitas at the AKC Magic Valley Kennel Club shows in Lewisburg, WV from the BBE class! May 2010 - Dory won Winners Bitch/Best Opposite under judge Mrs. Dorothy Christiansen at the AKC Beckley WV KC & Magic Valley Kennel Club shows in in Lewisburg, WV and also won Winners Bitch/Best of Winners/Best Opposite under judge Miss Virginia Lyne from the BBE class! Katie showed at her first All Breed AKC shows in November 2003 at 10 months of age.  She went Winners Bitch all three days from the Bred By Exhibitor class, went Best Of Winners on Saturday and went Best Of Breed Bred By Exhibitor on Sunday.  All earning her first two points toward her championship.  September 2004, Katie wins Best Bred By Exhibitor again and a Bred By Exhibitor Group 4 win! November 14, 2004, shows one day & wins Bred By Exhibitor class again. March 2005 - Raleigh NC All Breed Tarheel Circuit, Katie wins Bred By Exhibitor class all five days she is shown. November 2005 - Fayetteville KC & Lumberton KC, wins Bred By Exhibitor class She is beginning obedience, rally and agility lessons and seems to love them.  Katie had her first introduction to sheep herding at a 2-day herding seminar with Jim Hartnagle in November 2004. On New Year's Day 2005, we got together with some friends and practiced some herding.  Katie really got into it and did a fabulous job.  We expect her to be very versatile in all of these areas. We nicknamed her "the thinker" at the young age of 3 weeks.  You can see the wheels turning all the time. She entered her first conformation match at 5 months and did well, placing 3rd in the 4-6 month class. November 12-14, 2004 - Abby shows in her first AKC All Breed show and wins Bred By Exhibitor class first two days and takes second to her sister Katie on the third day. March 2005 - Raleigh, NC AKC All Breed Tarheel Circuit - Abby takes second to her sister Katie all five days in the Bred By Exhibitor Class. October 2005 - Abby earns a qualified run toward her Herding Tested title 10-02-05 Abby has lots of play drive and is excelling at her obedience, rally and agility training.  We introduced Abby to sheep on New Year's Day 2005.  She was a natural and very confident! She's proving to be as agile and versatile just like her father & mother! At the ASCA shows by Carolina ASC on July 21-22, 2007, Patty won the Puppy 12-18 class under judges Susan Moorehead, Gayle Gold and Mark Lucas. Patty won the Bred By Exhibitor class at the AKC Moore County Kennel Club shows under judge Robert Slay on September 16, 2007!
